1840-50 Gutenberg discovers the book press machine and works on the Bibel. 1609 "Aviso" from Wolfenbuettel, "Relations" from Strassburg and later "Einkommende Nachrichten" from Leipzig - some of the early newspapers. 1923 First German radio station goes on air "Unterhaltungsrundfunk". 1924 Karolus, Braid & Jenkins work together on their project "Television". 1952 Daily television runs in many German households.

Power lies in the hands of those who understand the methods of bringing their messages to the masses. Power lies in the hands of the media.
